Damn, this is boring!
I’ve actually experimented with the frozen veggies for fun :P Most of the time, the rubber/frozen taste will go away if u thaw it correctly. Don’t pour the veggies into a bowl and let them thaw because they’ll soak up all the water that was frozen. Clean your sink and pour the veggies into the sink and let the water drain. Make sure the veggies are room temp. before you cook them. Also, to really get rid of the frozen taste, boil them. Hope that was some help!
I get the whole bit about buying frozen veges, but they taste rubbery.. I like fresh more.
put it in the toaster, a bit longer than making conventional toast.
I freeze bread all the time. I just take a loaf out and put it in the fridge to thaw. It doesn’t get soggy/wet.
wat if the bread get wet frozen? need thaw?
Sobey’s is a ripoff. I go to No-Frills where they have Presidents Choice at a lower price than Loblaws.
A pack of Club house Alfredo galric pasta sauce at Sobey’s is $2.49 and at food basics it’s $1.29 OMG if you buy 100 you save over $120 on just one item!!!
Yeah i shop there too sometimes but i find that store way tooo big! i’m like where the hell am i all the time when i’m in that store!!! Finding the exit and cashier is always a problem… I Much rather perfer my china town LOL Thanks for the suggestions tho!
try the real canadian super stores… they have better stuff than food basics with less prices than sobey’s…
