To be honest, maybe I shouldn’t review this as I never used it… I thought it would be great to have little 10-minute supplements to add variety to my workouts & be able to do a whole new routine by programming it, but — I took it home & put it in the DVD player just to see what it was all about and by the end couldn’t tell if I found the lady more comical or annoying. NO ONE should be able to talk THAT MUCH while bouncing all over the universe. I think maybe she lip-synched it or something. As for the workouts themselves – ridiculous. Who knows; they might work great, but to me it was just a bunch of silly, crazy looking moves jumbled together too quickly. 10 minutes just isn’t enough time to cram in warm ups, exercises & cool-down stretching. I’ve tried other videos in this series since & keep having to stop them & backtrack when I get left behind. I think at least 3 of the workouts I ruled out entirely as I have a foot I broke years ago that still gives me grief if I hop around on it too much & my knees don’t care for it either. There was 1 or 2 routines I considered might be halfway worthwhile, but in the end just decided to resell it. Just don’t care for this series. Although I did laugh a fair bit watching it – especially when she wants you to “give it to me now.” Ooookay…

I dont think 10 mins can make anyone loose weight, so the 10 min workouts i do the whole 50 mins. I’ve been working out for about a year usally 2 hours 4 days a week so 10 mins isnt nothing to me, but this work out doing ALL 5 segs. was a great workout and i think if you do all 5 or 3 or 4 your good to go, but just one is silly.

For a beginner, this dvd would provide an excellent work out. If your main goal is to get off the couch and get on your feet, this dvd will keep you motivated and meet your needs.
But if you’re looking for an intense cardiovascular workout, you won’t find it here.
The instructor irked me with her chirpy carb and calorie eliminating mantra. Her style of instruction will keep you focused on working off the spaghetti you had last night, rather than taking your fitness to the next level.
The movements were shallow and overly simple– they didn’t even get up my heart rate!
Although the 10 minute sessions are convenient for any schedule, this dvd is not for everyone. This is a mild work out best suited for beginners.

I knew this DVD would be challenging…
Well, just watching it made me short of breath. This is definitely not for the beginner. I am significantly overweight, but young and pretty healthy otherwise. I ordered a balance ball kit—LOVE IT, and a pedal exerciser to use at work—another good choice. I got this DVD to mix it up and get a good cardio workout a couple times a week. Well, it’s going to be awhile before I even attempt these workouts. It’s very discouraging, and sometimes dangerous to try and work beyond your fitness level.

I haven’t worked all the way through this video yet, but it does get you to breathing hard. Not hard to follow, and typical of 10 Minute Solution, you can do as much as you feel up to in one session. Good aerobic workout.
